‘The Deadliest Occupation in Show Business’
Austrian conductor STEFAN SOLTESZ, collapsed at the podium on July 22, 2022, while conducting at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. He was 73, and the fourth conductor to collapse midperformance in that theatre and die since the early 1900s. (See ‘The Show Won’t Go On: The Deadliest Occupation in Show Business’)
